When people call you sweetheart

..or "hun" or "baby" or"darlin" ..I don't want your terms of endearment unless I know you. With that said, I just brush it off.

Derek (Shamar) keeps calling Garcia ""BABY DOLL"" gets annoying. Well mostly cause I kinda dream he would say it to me. lol

I hate it when people have no idea who I am or have never met me before calls me sweetheart.
Its disrespectful in my opinion. And I hate being called that.
I have snapped at someone once who called me that.
And the person who saw me said No need too be rude.
I feel bad. But all the anger from anybody who has called me sweetheart before just came out.

Do you guys like being called sweetheart? Or do you just not care?

Eh I wouldn't take offense to it necessarily unless the person came off creepy.
I call people Hon, Sug(short for sugar), and dear. Of course I usually mean it in a condescending way but still :D
But nah I wouldn't get too bothered.

Hate it especially when younger people do it and strangers. Very annoying.
I also hate being called 'hun' like no. Stop.

I can see why you hate it. It is weird when people talk to you like you're in a relationship with them. They're using those pet names like "honey" or "babe" or whatever name they've come up with and that's just awkward.

Here there are lots of different names people use - darling, love, mate, babe etc., and it's just normal. I quite like it, it's just a way of being friendly
