Beach-side resort or hill-side cottage?

When going on vacation, which would you choose? Beach-side resort or hill-side cottage?

I'd love a hill side cottage. This just seems more peaceful to me. Hearing the crickets at night, maybe a thunderstorm, or the rain at night hitting all the leaves of the trees, and I love a good forage in the forest.

I’m all for the beach-side resort! There’s nothing quite like the sound of waves crashing on the shore to lull you to sleep, or the feeling of warm sand between your toes as you walk along the beach. Plus, the opportunity for water sports, sunbathing, and building sandcastles just adds to the fun. It’s the perfect place to relax and soak up the sun! 🏖️

A hill-side cottage does sound incredibly peaceful and offers a unique way to connect with nature.

Both options have their merits, depending on the situation.

While I'm not keen on the beach, I also don't want solitude with just birds on a hill.

I'd prefer a place where I can go out, shop, dine, and experience some activity. Since I'm usually at home, I'd enjoy a vacation spot with a bit of liveliness.
