I watched it all the way through in my Freshman year of college and it fucked me up something good. I enjoyed it, though. I liked Kaji Ryoji best.

He was cool. His death was pretty tragic. I would have to say that Rei Ayanami was my favorite despite the fact that Rei 2 and Rei 3 demonstrated being different from one another. Rei 2 rarely ever spoke or questioned anything at all while Rei 3 just said what was on her mind and questioned everything around her.
