*dusts off thread* Since 2015...
-ten Category 3 hurricanes
-fourteen Category 4 hurricanes
-seven Category 5 hurricanes

...and all of them, to some degree, were worse because of climatic changes in the atmosphere....

Thank you for agreeing with me.
But still, you have to concede that, compared to recent decades, tropical cyclones/hurricanes have been stronger and deadlier than in the past.

Only because idiot humans have decided to build condominiums below the storm tide line and fill them full of tourists.

As for "stronger and deadlier".....

How soon they forget:

The deadliest natural disaster in American history remains the 1900 hurricane in the island city of Galveston, Texas. On September 8, a category four hurricane descended on the town, destroying more than 3,600 buildings with winds surpassing 135 miles per hour.

Estimates of the death toll range from 6,000 to 12,000, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association.

The worst weather we get around here is a little bit of rain sometimes.

As for "stronger and deadlier".....
Every storm's different; I mean, as bad as that, imagine one on the level of a Hugo, Andrew, Katrina or Michael.
