It's novel, but in the end it just a glorified search engine. I didn't know there was a paid version and can't imagine what it would be able to differently.

I have used ChatGPT a few times to get ideas on articles to write for my sites, for the free version it works for what I need it for and I am happy with it and would recommend it for basic usage if you are looking for something to use that is free.
