(not talking about the TV show)

What happened in the "Big Bang?"

Do you believe this theory?

Why or why not?

Sure, it seems to be the most reasonable theory at present based on gathered intelligence. Could that change? Yep, that's science.

What happened in the "Big Bang?"

The Big Bang began with the singularity. And then, for some reason which is unknown, the singularity expanded. According to modern physics, it is still expanding.

Do you believe this theory?

There's empirical evidence supporting it, so yeah, I believe it.

Before the Big Bang there was no space or time. :panic:

I think that is a major misconception. There is the Initial Singularity fueled the Big Bang, which is merely an expansion of the universe. No one knows passed Planck Time if the universe had a beginning or if it has always existed.

The initial singularity is a singularity predicted by some models of the Big Bang theory to have existed before the Big Bang[1] and thought to have contained all the energy and spacetime of the Universe.[2] The instant immediately following the initial singularity is part of the Planck epoch, the earliest period of time in the history of our universe.
